ThermiVa® is a noninvasive, non-hormonal treatment that uses controlled radiofrequency energy to gently heat tissue, with little to no discomfort and no downtime.
ThermiVa is used to treat many of the medical issues associated with vaginal laxity. A wand-like instrument is used and with radiofrequency (RF) technology, applies heat to the vaginal walls and the labia majora and minora.
It is a nonsurgical treatment that uses radiofrequency energy to gently heat tissue. The FDA-approved applicator targets various vaginal areas internally and externally, which in turn brings life back into atrophied muscles, tissues and nerves. An outpatient, virtually pain-free procedure, most women are out the door after a half hour.
Unlike some of the other treatments available, there is no downtime associated with ThermiVa and patients can resume all normal activity immediately following the procedure. Patients are able to exercise and/or have sexual intercourse the same day.

How Is ThermiVa® Performed?
ThermiVa® is an anti-aging heat treatment in Upland, CA, that utilizes radiofrequency to invigorate vaginal collagen in order to rejuvenate the inner and outer portions of the vagina. In a quick, in-office procedure, Dr. Easter will use a small wand, no larger than a finger, to apply radiofrequency to the vaginal wall and labia majora and minora. You will hear a small beep and feel slight warmth as Dr. Easter applies treatment. Generally lasting no longer than 30 minutes, you can expect to be on your way with no physical or sexual activity restrictions, even on the day of the procedure. Who Is A Good Candidate for ThermiVa?
The best candidate for ThermiVa is a patient with light to moderate vaginal skin laxity. It is also an ideal solution for those unsure about having more kids and who want to prevent the recovery that accompanies surgery. As an ideal candidate for ThermiVa, you should be at least 2 – 3 months post-partum from your most recent childbirth, be finished with planned pregnancies, have experienced reduced sexual pleasure recently, and have loose outer or inner vaginal tissue.

What's the difference between ThermiVa and labiaplasty?
ThermiVa is more appropriate for women who are not sure about having more kids as it is less expensive, quicker, and requires no healing time. Even though ThermiVa is a valuable treatment choice for women who have mild vaginal skin laxity, it might not be the best choice for women with acute vaginal laxity. A labiaplasty is a surgical removal of the extra skin near the vaginal region and might be better for women who experience significant vaginal skin laxity.
How many ThermiVa sessions will I need?
For optimal effects, a series of three ThermiVa treatments spaced approximately one month apart is recommended. Following the three primary treatments, yearly touch-up treatments may be necessary to maintain results. Additionally, the natural aging process, significant weight fluctuations, pregnancy, and childbirth may alter the effects of ThermiVa.
What conditions can be treated with ThermiVa?
By creating a tighter genital area, ThermiVa may also treat several other problems that may have occurred through aging and other elements. ThermiVa was made to strengthen vaginal laxity in addition to vulvar or labial laxity to tighten up the labial skin and minimize any sagging. It can also reduce incontinence and dryness to minimize any leakage, accidents, or urge symptoms. Furthermore, ThermiVa can address orgasmic difficulties or sexual dysfunction by helping to heighten sensitivity.
